Excellent footwear and waterproofing. I have a small farm where I need good waterproof shoes that can take a beating and still look good. I also wear them on my boat for the same reasons. They are so comfortable and that is the main reason I pay extra for good shoes. This is my fifth pair and by the time my wife found my old Sperrys and threw them away I had them all. If you wear shoes for work and leisure in the above elements, you will fall in love with them too. On a cold day on a boat or chasing wildlife, there's nothing like warm, dry feet. Good luck but don't let your wife or girlfriend find your old couples because they are like old friends who are just as comfortable. PS I also wear mine to board meetings.
