I bought a Slide Lite with my new Sony a6500 mirrorless camera. For me, the width of the strap is just right, both functionally and aesthetically. It feels secure and sits comfortably either around my neck or as a strap (I don't use it on a shoulder as that seems like the least secure method to me). The strap width of the Leash Lite is proportional to the size of my Sony, which is more compact than a full-size DSLR. The material of the black seat belt is very high quality. Gunmetal gray slide buckles and subtle red accents give it nice but understated style. Style points are important to me. A famous review mentions detaching the base plate that fits into your camera tripod's screw hole. This product comes with a rubber gasket that provides a compression/friction fit. But even when I used it properly and really pushed on the screw, I found that it loosened up quite a bit in a short amount of time. It never loosened more than 1/8 turn, but that made me nervous. I'll be checking this regularly and also see if I can find a small lock washer to hold this bolt in place. I should add that I use a leather half case for my a6500. This bag attaches to the camera through the same hole and has another hole for use on a tripod. Bottom line, I attach the Slide Lite's bottom plate to a hole in the leather case, not to the camera. It might work well if it attaches directly to the camera's screw hole, but that's not my situation. I'm keeping my rating at 5 stars because I'm not using the product exactly as intended and because my problem can easily be solved by spending pennies on a lock washer. Slide Lite stays on my camera almost all the time. I don't take it off every time I put it in the suitcase. I use the Revain Basics shoulder bag and have enough space to fit my camera and lens in it and tuck a spare strap into the remaining space. Other reviews say the band material is too hard. Just go to your car and feel the seat belt material. If you think it's too hard then don't be surprised if you get the Slide Lite because the feeling will be the same. For me it is perfect and exactly what I expected. Enough has been said to describe the design of the patented Anchor Link system. I just want to add that I was concerned about the strength of the cords on each Anchor Link knob before purchasing. However, when I received it and felt the stiffness and strength of the cord material, I was satisfied. That's quite enough for the weight of my camera, even with a large lens installed. In fact, not only is that enough, it's overkill, but in a good, confidence-inspiring form. This is a great product that will inspire added pride every time you use it with your camera(s). For me, the price matched the level of quality and style it offers. I expect this Slide Lite to please me for a long time.
