Heavy and stiff but I like its adjustability.

The longer option is the best thing about this harness. What other reviewers might not have mentioned is that the fabric is a bit stiff, leading to large loops near the camera after you adjust it. It's annoying when you hold the camera to your face to take a picture. It's quite thick like the seat belt material but not as wide. It would be great if it was narrow like a standard camera strap. I hope it loosens up over time. but I'm not sure what it will be. Subject to return. Maybe it's too…

I had high hopes for this band. the straps on the ends do not lie flat

I was really looking forward to enjoying this strap when I attached it to my Sony A7 III mirrorless camera. All the reviews say it's the best out there and the adjustability can't be compared. Well, one thing that most reviews don't mention (with the exception of the May 2, 2018 Amazon CEBEP reviewer) is the "band loudness" that occurs when you pick up a camera and hold it to your eyes. The straps aren't flexible enough and tend to take on an oval shape and not lay flat, creating a lot of bulk…

However, I had my doubts.

This fix helped. belt holder! My doubts stemmed from issues I had read about the stiffness of the material causing large sloppy loops at the junction where the straps double. Tested in practice, I actually found this to be a problem. The thickness of the material made it difficult to quickly attach the anchors to the anchor links. Unfortunately, the $50 product had to be modified to work properly, but it made a world of difference (see photos). I think they can be removed. It can be covered…

If you know Peak Design then you know they are a dynamic startup that listens to the community that supports their products. I bought it mainly for a Fuji X-T2 body and a 16-55mm f2.8 lens, which is pretty hefty. Since they offer 2 pairs of connectors, I also use it for my lighter Sony A6000 body. The material is similar to what the seat belt is made of and I am confident that this belt will outlive the body I use it on. I appreciate quick release anchors and it's no wonder they're a huge hit…

Nice and safe but with imperfections

Peak Design make quality products. The materials, the build, the feel of the strap is great. I don't worry about my camera falling or not being securely fastened with this strap. However, it has a few design flaws that are a little puzzling. First: metal clasps, buckles that fix the length of the strap: if you plan to wear the camera around your neck (like a regular strap), the buckles should be right on your neck. This means that in extreme weather (very hot or very cold) you have a piece of…

Gliding is good, but the width is annoying until the very end

The really nice thing about this harness is that it's made of a low-friction material like a seat belt, so it slips or "slips". "(as the name suggests) simply over the shoulder. This allows the camera to be worn sideways or back on the hip with the strap on the opposite shoulder, and then simply rotated and brought up to the eyes to take pictures. This works surprisingly well for others Straps tend to snag behind your back and shoulder if you try, but this one does it just fine, and might take…

Nice but rough around the edges

Let me first say that I would like to give this product a 3.5 star rating, but it is not an option and I hope people will do so before purchasing read. I bought this strap for my Sony A7Riii after seeing many rave reviews of the strap on YouTube. In general, the processing quality seems to be good, but on the one hand even too good because the material is not flexible. As you can see from one of my photos, the stiffness of the straps tends to open large loops that sometimes make the strap…

Quality, style and performance

I bought a Slide Lite with my new Sony a6500 mirrorless camera. For me, the width of the strap is just right, both functionally and aesthetically. It feels secure and sits comfortably either around my neck or as a strap (I don't use it on a shoulder as that seems like the least secure method to me). The strap width of the Leash Lite is proportional to the size of my Sony, which is more compact than a full-size DSLR. The material of the black seat belt is very high quality. Gunmetal gray slide…

Great strap. Almost perfect for my needs.

This is the second Peak Design product that I have purchased. I bought their V1 Everyday Backpack about a month ago and was so impressed with the quality, functionality and thoughtful design that I wanted to see what their other products are like. I usually hate camera straps, but I think my dislike stems from poorly designed and uncomfortable "first batch" straps. Straps I still didn't like a few things about it. I realized that the Slide Lite strap was priced right, so I gave it a try…
