My wife and I ride both highway and off-road. We are serious sport riders - rode the Hotter N Hell - and trail riders. I've been riding for over 20 years so I won't wear junk or ride junk. I have been using the Giro brand for almost all of these years until I ordered this helmet. It's not the most advanced high-tech helmet by today's standards, but if you don't compete or just don't need the latest gadget, this helmet will get the job done. . The straps snap securely and have anti-pinch protection (good) and the back adjuster for size adjustment is good quality and easy to use. The vents cool well and after removing the visor it looks pretty sharp. The visor simply snaps into place so you can take it off and put it back on when needed. The fit is top-notch, no need to insert small pads like I've done with other brands. Well worth the money for a helmet that would have cost you over £150 10 years ago.
