Great light - bad batch?
I really like the full spectrum light of these Chromalux 75W bulbs, unfortunately I got a bad batch. All 5 bulbs have already burnt out in 4 months and now it's too late to return. They claim to last up to 5000 hours and to be honest I have bought other batches that have lasted a very long time but this batch was poor. I don't mind paying more for quality bulbs, mainly because they're incandescent rather than humming at 60Hz and polluting my house with extra EMFs, but they should last 4+ months. Maybe they need to be wrapped. better? I checked the electrical wiring to these banks in my three year old house and everything is fine so...
