So I followed some of the other reviewers who said shower first and do whatever you need to do before using this exfoliating mitt. This gives the skin time to absorb water and soften. First I tried on my hand and there really was nothing there so I was like hmm my hands are not usually a problem area with dry skin so I went to my feet and wooow. So much dead skin on the glove. My calves were very dry and itchy and I haven't had this problem since using these gloves. It's very intense, so I'll probably only do it once a week, twice at most. Overall very happy with the price, the quality and the fact that it does what it's supposed to do.
