I opened a very nice gift box and looked at a nice pair of gloves. I confess that I was initially impressed - and with good reason. The gloves consist of an outer shell made of soft, supple leather. You can smell quality leather, here it is, the touch, the smell. Inside is an insulating layer and a mostly smooth and soft fleece inner shell. They even have leather straps with metal clasps to adjust wrist size for those with smaller wrists - a nice touch. Then I tried them on and the cuff on the wrist, made of wool, scratches as fast as it can be! I don't know if it's cashmere but it's very scratchy and every movement of my hand or wrist scratches the skin! I don't think I can wear this for more than a few minutes at a time. Like I said, everything was going great, and then... BAM! A five star product dropped to three stars!
