Review on πŸ”Œ Wagan Smart AC 200W Inverter with 5V 2.1A USB Power Port by Joe Griffin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lightweight / More powerful than advertised / Turns off automatically to save battery life

I have been using Wagan inverters in my car, van and on the water for over 10 years. This is the brand we chose when we wanted to enable our customers to use our product in cars and RVs. After selling (and using) a few dozen Wagans we're seeing a few of them fail, but overall they're a lot more reliable than usual. Wagan, as we have seen, was the first to produce an inverter of acceptable quality. You seem to be much more conscientious as a company than others. Conventional inverters are notoriously easy to overload, even at their advertised capacity. On the other hand, these Waganm quote their true power on the box and can often double the rated power in a short time without fail. My 400w model even says it can handle 1000w for a moment. USB sockets are handy. The plastic case is lightweight and won't destroy things like the old metal cases with sharp edges. This model does a good job of cooling. The circuit is an update of old inverters. The best thing for me is that these new smart inverters turn off before they run out of battery. Saved me multiple times.

Pros
