I installed it in my photo studio so I can keep an eye on everything when I'm not there. I have multi-room heating in my apartment and would like to be able to keep an eye on things when someone comes in and does maintenance. So far I'm very impressed with the picture quality and ease of installation. The only thing I had a problem with was installing the camera stand. I figured I could rotate the camera image 90 degrees if I wanted to mount it sideways directly on the wall. Once I understood this limitation and put the camera on a small shelf, everything was fine.
