Bought this for one of my miniature dachshund puppies to wear on cold nights and to travel north this winter. It is very thick, soft and warm. The detachable hood adds an extra layer of warmth around the neck and is also fleece lined. The only downside is that this sweatshirt doesn't have a seatbelt slot in the back, but there is a gap at the hood closure, which is fine with us. What I love most about this sweatshirt is that it is sleeveless. My breed usually has a problem with their short legs getting caught in the hands of sleeved clothing and that happens with them. It did a great job of keeping my little girl warm. I would buy again.
