Used on my Ram to hide some existing scratches and prevent new ones. Easy to use. Seems pretty tacky but I just put them on so can't comment on how they hold up cold/heat and water. I drew a template with blue masking tape and cut it out. Pretty forgiving of flattening it out by lightly touching the car and then pulling back to change position as long as you don't push down. It has a transparent backing that can be peeled off. It is not sandpaper and not very rough. I wouldn't use it to prevent slipping when wet, but for a doorstep it's the perfect texture. Sufficient length to make 2 strips on each door of a quad ram cab. Hope it lasts!
