Product conforms well to the curves of my doors. I recommend you mount the edge protector and cut it to length before removing the adhesive protector. Once the protective strip is in place, carefully peel off the self-adhesive protective strip from one end and follow the removed strip with your other hand, making sure the protective strip is pressed fully against the door.

Bought the transparent version. I installed it with no problems; The seal followed the edge of the door and stuck well. However, I immediately noticed that the print looks like an iridescent magenta when viewed from an angle other than straight ahead. If my car was navy blue it might be less noticeable, although it looks odd on a silver car. Unfortunately I took it off and will probably throw it away because of this color issue.

I just bought a new car and wanted the door edges to be more secure (the doors are heavier than my old car). I usually open the car door fairly carefully, but this buffers a little more. It was very easy to install by simply cutting it to length and pulling out the little red plastic covering the sticky substance. I'm glad I read some of the reviews. There are no instructions. Place the sticky side on the inside of the door.

Works as advertised, looks attractive. Here are some installation tips: 1. Use a damp paper towel to clean the area where the product will be installed2. Slowly and carefully remove the small red coating from the tape.3. Have a small pair of needle nose pliers handy to fix the little red tape if it breaks! 4. Install this item when your work area is warm. Otherwise the plastic will become very rigid and make assembly considerably more difficult.

Easy to install and seems to fit fairly well except in one spot for some reason. Be sure to clean and prep the area you are applying this product to. My only issue is that the dirt underneath collects and looks rough (since it's clear) but the stripes now appear to be slightly discolored. It's not entirely terrible and still protects the edges of my doors so I personally don't care but I'd say if it becomes very noticeable I might decide to remove them and find others.

I do not recommend this product. It was a hassle to put it on the car door, when it finally got stuck I noticed the glue was all over the edge of the door and was very visible. After a few days the dirt stuck to the glue and these stains were everywhere. So I removed it with gue-away but it kept coming back. It performed well, even around tight corners (time will tell if the compound holds up around the corner), but the glue isn't always where it's shown. Some of them are NOT on the side of the channel that will be covered by the door edge during installation, but in the curved part, and some have migrated to the outside of the channel.
