This is my second RhinoShield case and ordering it from Revain was a lot easier than trying to buy through the company's website. Before RhinoShield, I used Otterbox cases. I'm very clumsy and I drop my iPhone every day. Since using RhinoShield I cannot use any other cases. My iPhone is as thin as it gets without a case. The texture of the shell offers excellent grip. My previous RhinoShield had a screen protector on both the front and back, but my pop socket didn't stay in place with the back screen protector attached. I had minimal damage to the back after removing this protection (kid hit the phone on the corner of the counter), but even with frequent heavy falls, the screen and phone overall are in perfect condition. I also don't have any hidden damage around the edges of the phone, as I've seen others remove their standard hard plastic cases. I couldn't get my husband to try it because it's too grippy to fit in his front pocket, but I always use it in the back pocket of my jeans with no problem. And he's one of those weirdos who uses his phone without a case. Toddlers and a service dog come into contact with my phone far too often to go without a case, even if I didn't drop the damn thing myself the whole time.
