This is my first review of the Beelink U57 Mini PC with Intel Core i5-5257, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD and I will update as soon as I use it. Mini PCs are currently coming onto the market. Most of them have similar features and characteristics. All of them are smaller than a CD, almost all have both wireless and ethernet connectivity. They usually offer 2-3 USB ports, but this one has 4 USB ports and one USB-C port is more than you really need, and others also offer 4GB to 8GB RAM and 16GB to 256GB ROM without an upgrade -Option. and are equipped with very young Intel processors. I've seen and tested many of them, but this is one of the more expensive models with a higher clock speed, i5 processor, and higher specs, priced at around $350. There's actually a lot that sets this product apart from some of the other cheaper models, the fact that it has a more durable metal body makes it look and feel very premium like an Apple Mini. Most other cheap products only have a plastic case. This mini PC also supports two HDMI ports. I really see that as an advantage if you have two monitors so that helps you or you can put two monitors up. The product comes with an external mounting bracket but no external antenna connector, but I had no issues with Wi-Fi. Windows 10 Pro ships and you just have to go through the normal Windows 10 installation process, which requires you to either have a Microsoft account or create a new one. There is an option to continue the installation without an internet connection, but it is hidden somewhere in the settings. After completing the basic setup, you need to install regular updates for Microsoft products. The installation doesn't come with any of the extra unwanted malware that you find on many new PCs, so you don't have to spend hours removing useless or even malicious software. It's a pretty clean build. But a word of advice, don't connect to the internet or log on to wifi during the installation as it will mess up your setup for some reason. Overall great build quality and a fast Intel Core i5-5257u processor and 8GB of RAM with a 256GB SSD. , those are insanely fast specs. So, if you are looking for a powerful mini PC that doesn't have to deal with much graphics, then this is definitely the right option for you. However, I recommend it over similar models due to its very high performance and lightning speed.
