Experienced craftsmen only!

I'm amazed that ANYONE can come up with complicated patterns and how to make them. +/- years) it was damn hard and very long. I filled it instead of dipping it in floor wax (couldn't find what Diane recommends). This was the first thing I tried from the book and I really think the directions for this project could be improved. (More photos and drawings are in the works.) Also, another reviewer mentioned that all projects require delicatessen. The beads I used were cylinders, not a delicacy. Should it be treats?
