There are two versions of this watch. The original version contains errors in the instructions and articles. The second version is fairly easy to assemble. The box does not indicate which version is inside. The cover of the user manual says "LK501-V2". But don't expect it to work very well. I have bought a couple of these model kits and they are amazing. A great activity for the kids or your spouse that will definitely kill boredom. The instructions are easy to follow and once assembled it works! In this case my friend and I broke one of the clock hands, we tried to glue it together but it got worse. Bought this for my son as a gift and we had a lot of fun putting it together. However, he was very disappointed when it didn't work out in the end. The pendulum kept swinging. It is very important to do everything correctly, and instructions will not help. The manual says no glue is needed and the pendulum bob loses momentum when swinging as the parts flex a bit. To fix this you need to glue parts D1, D3, D4, D7 and D8 together and make sure that D8 and gear C5 fit together perfectly…

So this was REALLY fun to build. Took me about 1 hour 40 minutes. Each cog in a watch has a very similar design, so take your time with the first two and you'll be able to handle the rest with ease. My grandson and I cut out the pieces which was fairly easy. Gear assembly was fairly easy. But it would be nice if each cog was labeled ab, 1, 2, or 3. The frame is quick to assemble, just be careful with the supports, they are quite fragile. You'll have to grind down the little brackets or risk breaking them during installation (not that that's happened to me). Very good way to while away a few lazy days. We bought several sets of Rokr. But this is the best so far. The satisfaction of having a working clock after a few hours of assembly is just epic! A few tips: take your time and burrs out of the gears right away. There aren't many, but it's worth the extra time. Also spin each gear on your spindle to make sure it's not too warped. For a watch that runs decently, Spring has an absolute limit of about four hours. It has enough power to operate the pendulum for no more than two and a half hours. I found that the rear axle bearing on the spring sprocket was set too far back and slightly misaligned, causing the sprocket to fall off and shortening run time. I made a replacement from the leftovers of Panel A, cut off the top of the original support and super glued the replacement to the original. Make sure there is a small gap…
