I have 120 sticks in mine. I use 69% boveda packs in mine. 1 per shelf. I seasoned miner by wiping the interior with paper towels wet with distilled h20. It holds humidity so well, that for 3 days it stayed at 89% humidity. I had to leave it open for 2 afternoons to bring the humidity back down to target. I read mixed reviews about this hat but holy crap, please buy this hat! It looks so good with everything, is comfortable, and has a string on the inside where you can tighten it to fit your head. Fits really well with all my planters with drainage holes. I used to use coffee filters since they are biodegradable, but I decided to give these a try. I really like them since they don't break down easily and I can keep reusing them over and over again. I went for the larger 4-inch diameter size for more surface area. This is easy to use and fairly painless if you ice beforehand. I bought the 2mm ones but I would recommend a larger size. After a couple of days the "stone" part was kinda sinking in the hole because it was so small. That hurt a little. This wouldn't have happened if I bought a bigger size. I switched it out with a stud I already owned but it was kinda a struggle. I do recommend this product in the fact that it did the job.
