Not for 120v: my feedback

Says they are rated to 12 awg wire. Simply wont fit. 14 awg will fit, but will not hold the wire secure enough. The connectors may not be compatible with certain types of machinery or equipment, which could limit their usefulness in some industries.

Pros
  • It is not a Wago, but works great.
Cons
  • The connectors may not be compatible with certain types of machinery or equipment, which could limit their usefulness in some industries

Get the Wagos - my new review

I threw these in my cart thinking I was ordering the Wago connectors. (My own fault). These are the Chinese ripoff of Wagos. They are not UL listed. Will order the real deal next time.

Pros
  • Just used them.clean looking job . So far i.like them.
Cons
  • The compact size of the connectors may make them hard to grip, particularly for those with arthritis or other forms of hand weakness

These are perfect!: my feedback

So simple to use and they are perfect! I only wish I had known about them sooner. Makes electrical jobs around the house so much easier. Thanks!

Pros
  • Good invention
Cons
  • The lever connectors may wear and tear over time, causing them to break easily

They worked and well pleased

Like all redo's short on room and these helped, was concerned in the beginning if they would hold bushing wires and pig tails back in the boxes, they seemed to be ok

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • The connectors may be prone to overheating, particularly if they are used for extended periods of time

Great product. on my review.

Only downside is they are a bit exelon compared to wire nuts but worth it when making 4 to 5 wire connections. Just what I wanted.!

Pros
  • Just what I wanted.
Cons
  • The connectors may not be as durable as other types of connectors on the market

Bigger than expected

These connectors are twice as big as WAGO connectors, which is not obvious in the pictures. They appear to be good quality, but there size is going to take up a lot more room in the electrical box.

Pros
  • Very sturdy product and very easy to use. I will be using these for all my future electrical projects!
Cons
  • The connectors may not be as long-lasting as other types of connectors on the market

Works well for 24 AWG wire

I had a hard time finding options to splice a 24 AWG wire. I came across these and gave them a shot. They delivered. They seem to hold the wire firmly and have good contact. Everything is working as it should.

Pros
  • Efficient
Cons
  • The connectors may require more frequent maintenance than other types of connectors on the market

Conflicting qty in listing/ title

This style of connectors are great. Looking to buy more of this type but not from a seller that has inconsistent quantities in the listing/title.

Pros
  • Great product. Space saving for many connections.
Cons
  • The connectors may not be suitable for use with stranded wires, which could limit their versatility

Faster and Better than Wire Nuts

Not as cheap to purchase as a wire nut, but connecting is faster than wire nuts, the snap provides much more positive feed back that a secure contact is complete than a wire nut, requires fewer tools, and you can do ½ the connectivity work while still on the ground. When your time, safety and convenience is included they are cheaper than wire nuts.

Pros
  • Good for splicing small gage wire. Easy to hook up and disconnect.
Cons
  • The small size of the connectors could make them difficult to work with for those with poor eyesight

More difficult than a Wago

The levers require much more force than a Wago to pull them up. I had to use a small straight blade screwdriver. Minor point and I give them 5 stars anyway. I expect wire nuts (which I have hundreds of) will go the way of the early knob and tube electrical wiring technology.

Pros
  • Good very helpful to do wiring
Cons
  • The connectors may not be suitable for use in high-temperature environments

The best way to connect 3 or more wires

This has to be the best way to connect 4/5 wires ! Clean , simple and you can remove or add 1 wire at a time without disconnecting he others

Pros
  • Love these wire nuts!!
Cons
  • The connectors may not be able to withstand exposure to corrosive materials, such as saltwater or acids

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good connectors especially 14-18 gauge

These work really nicely though I noted the connection on some finer wire I was using—like 20 gauge and up—was a little persnickety

Pros
  • Fast shipping, price is good
Cons
  • The connectors may not be compatible with some types of insulation, which could limit their usefulness in certain applications

nice product: my feedback

I found these connectors work just fine on copper, but on aluminum they tend to not grab as well as the copper. Still a great product and i will be purchasing more for my motorhome.

Pros
  • UL Listed
Cons
  • The connectors may be more difficult to install than other types of connectors on the market

Quick and easy with quality

These are better than a standard twist type wire nuts. Better in connection and in ease of use and reuse. That's my review!

Pros
  • Job
Cons
  • It may be difficult to remove the connectors from wires once they have been installed, making repairs or replacements more challenging

Great Product, Highly Recommend!

Great product, can’t believe I’m just now finding out about this product, makes wiring so much easier and if you ever need to make changes it’s a breeze to unclip etc.

Pros
  • Helped me to splice the wires perfectly.
Cons
  • The connectors may not be able to handle repeated cycle flexing, which could make them unsuitable for certain applications

Great using on 3+ wires. Simplifies changes too!

They really do work as advertised. No tricks or special techniques. When a few wires are coming together, I like using these where they are more compact, plus it is much easier to assemble with just 2 hands. I'm sure the pro electricians have no issue, but for the occassional DIY project, this makes my life easier.Big plus I learned that during a reno project where I have a lot of things temporarily put together . With these things, I can replace a switch in less than a minute an not have to…

Pros
  • Quick connections - multiple wires connect easily no worry of coming loose like wire nuts sometimes do
Cons
  • It may be difficult to insert thicker wires into the connectors, which could delay the installation process

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A positive connection.

Easier to use than the twist on wire nuts. Quicker, neater and a no doubt connection. The future of joining wires. The lever mechanism may be difficult to operate for those with limited mobility or dexterity.

Pros
  • These things are awesome! Why didn't I know about them sooner?
Cons
  • The lever mechanism may be difficult to operate for those with limited mobility or dexterity

Secure wire fit best in my review

These are easy to use and they have a secure fit on the wire. Just make sure that the wire is straight enough to have a secure fit. Be careful in letting the lever go down, because it does have a snap.

Pros
  • Hard to open, which I guess can be good. Not as easy to use as the name brand.
Cons
  • Beware! Not Wagos. Not UL approved. Why does amazon sell this junk?

Not UL or CSA/US Listed

None of the XHF lever wire connectors have UL or CSA/US listings, so using them for house wiring in the US (120v - 240v) is technically a violation of the NEC. The WAGO version does have UL certification for grounding and bonding applications so is OK to use. Best Buy should make this clear in their description of this product. UL and CSA approvals are intended to insure safety so using unlisted wire nuts could result in hazardous situations, such as fire or shock. XHF should get safety…

Pros
  • Used in construction, 2nd order
Cons
  • The connectors may not be able to handle exposure to high levels of UV radiation, causing them to deteriorate over time

does not open enough for 12 Gage wire

This product does not open enough for 12 gage wire smaller is ok. I tried to show a pick but the flash on my camera would not work. The Wago products are better and stay open till snapped in. The product snaps do not stay open and are hard to work with.

Pros
  • I brought this for my family, they are made with extremely good quality, is easy to use and convince.
Cons
  • The connectors may not be able to handle frequent use, particularly if they are used in high-traffic areas
