My original antenna cover came off and disappeared while driving. I only noticed it the next morning. So I found this antenna that was the closest to the dimensions I was looking for. I only needed the cover so I removed the plastic parts, gasket and antenna wire (held with double sided tape). I glued the cover to the base gasket that was on my car. I think the original Hyundai cover completely covered the seal but as I used glue I'm glad the new cover is a bit smaller and I didn't want to glue anything to the car's paintwork. I didn't try to match the car's silver color, but I was surprised that the silver-grey fin came close depending on the light conditions. The fin seems durable. If something goes wrong, it's probably due to the quality of my gluing work. So far he has driven about 250 miles on the freeway.
