It looks very impressive & fits as though you were a triathelete, but didn't help me stay warmer at all, which shocked me. If possible, I felt like it contributed to keeping me colder. I was also surprised that the cheaper lighter looser-fitting 32 Degree Heat brand I bought on a whim at Costco worked much better than I expected. With (probably) the exception of scuba wet suits, I'm finding out that the looser-fitting thermal underayer clothing works much better probably because of the warm air trapped between them & the empty space between them & the skin (vs. something absolutely tight-fitting with no negative space between the garment & the skin). I'm recently relocated from TX to CT & I've been experimenting with different underlayer brands as to what works best, so I consider myself a "clean slate" tester. This item has worked the least best for me of all the products I've tried. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I don't expect any of these garments to generate their own heat.
