Review on MSI Optix G32CQ4 1500R Curved Gaming 🖥️ Monitor, 31.5-inch, 2560X1440, 165Hz Refresh Rate, Tilt Adjustment, ‎OPTIXG32CQ4 by Rene Alexander

I bought this for gaming and was wanting to upgrade to a 120hz gaming setting at 2k (aka 1440p) and 1ms as it turns out these specs tend to be expensive in a single package. After some research I came across this monitor and after reading some decent reviews I saw that it is in a really good price range and from a well known company MSI. So I collected my money and bought one. I plugged it in and ran the game. One thing I noticed right away was the discoloration of pixels/textures when moving the mouse quickly. In minecraft textures which are normally black they turn weirdly blue when viewed, this is just one example of many others I could give, even in google chrome scrolling turns plain black text red. I went through the instructions and settings and enabled all the features like 165Hz etc etc even played around with some texture modes. I soon got down to what he thought was fine, although I've never had a monitor that did all of this. When I was recently playing Warzone I noticed a black dot on my screen and after a few games I got a screen cleaner thinking it was dust but it didn't come off after doing some research and found it to be was a dead pixel. Only FIVE MONTHS later the dead pixel showed up, I had 3 LG monitors under $100 each from Costco, lasted 5 years and didn't slip. I would recommend saving your money and getting a high end monitor with these specs rather than buying from this brand. I threw the box away and am not hoping to get my money back so I hope this will save someone else their hard earned money.
