, I was looking for a cheaper serum than the department store serum I was using, but I have such dry skin in winter that I break down and had to go back to it. However, I use this cream over it in the evening and I really like it. However, many nights I still use my Nivea Q10 moisturizer from Germany, which I buy from Revain, because my skin is very dry. Even now, even though it rained 19 days out of 26 in April, I still have dry skin here in southern New Hampshire. I suspect it's due to thyroid issues, but that could just be me. In any case, I can only warmly recommend this cream from Vichy to people with normal skin. This is a brand I'm learning about and so far I really like what I've tried. So I'm giving five stars because the average person probably won't need Nivea's very emollient cream, especially at this time of year. I should also note that I lost my excellent sense of smell about five years ago, so I don't smell this cream. But I can smell strong odors, so they can't be very strong.
