Disappointed for my opinion

This hasn't killed any weeds despite me spreading the entire lawn with the whole bag. Seriously disappointed It was somewhat helpful, but did not completely kill the dollar weed.!

Pros
  • The sprayer is hard to use. I have arthritis in my hands
Cons
  • It was somewhat helpful, but did not completely kill the dollar weed.

Not for hot humid climate I guess.

I live in sw Florida. Poured this into my spreader, it won't spread. Temp and humidity here makes it turn into a jelly like mass that spreader can't spread. Not sure why they are selling it here, tried three times in three weeks, no joy. Can I mix it with something like sand so it will spread in this humidity?

Pros
  • Won't harm lawns when used as directed
Cons
  • Needs to be applied evenly to prevent patchy results

Good product good for me

I just applied this on my lawn so it is to early to give this product a review at this time. I will update my review @ a later date.

Pros
  • I used it to kill weeds in my yard which brought about a beautiful lawn.
Cons
  • If only it worked as advertised. It does good though, not great.

Killin da weedz good for me

I live in the north east but planted southern grass, so I wanted to use weed and feed that says it won’t kill my southern grass. Specifically zoysia and st Augustine. This did kill some of my northern grasses that were in my yard. Killed the chick weed, didn’t do much to the dandelions. It’s slowly killing the clover. Yard is kind of looking a little rough with the death but it will get better as time goes on. Of course it’s not letting me upload a descent photo.

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • It didn’t work at all!!

weeds in your yard: my feedback

There are some weeds that just don't die, and I do have some of those weeds. But the product it self works fine Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Contains essential nutrients to promote healthy grass growth
Cons
  • Can cause allergic reactions in some individuals

Just used it 3 week ago very good results by now

After using scotts bonus S for years I was not having the same results as before in my St Augustin grass in South Florida.I don't know if they changed the original formula or what.Have used Bayer 3 times now, the first time I did it wrong and it did not work well. Used to the other brand for years Iwater the lawn after which is a no/no with this one. Also make sure to use the right setting on the spreader is totally different.Just used it 3 week ago very good results by now.

Pros
  • Southern lawns: specially formulated for southern lawns
Cons
  • Not effective on all weed types

Very effective product and seems to really last

This works like several other "Weed and Feed" products I have used, but the lasting effect of weed control seems much longer than the other products. I can't qualify or quantify that, but it just seems like the number of weeds coming back and the length of time before they come back is a lot longer. I am very happy with it.

Pros
  • Great fertilizer, so-so weed killer
Cons
  • This did not even kill the clover. . Applied as directed. Not pleased with this product.

Kills grass good for me

I should have listened to the other reviews. I followed the instructions exactly and tis killed my St. Augustine grass. Turned it into golden dry straw! Went to Home Depot and spoke with the gardening specialist. She said this brand is notorious for killing grass and advised me to go back to Scotts turf builder after waiting at least 2 months and hopefully it'll recover over the next few months. Fingers crossed. don't want to have to re-sod my front lawn.

Pros
  • Weed & Moss Control
Cons
  • I had a beautiful lawn. Tried to get rid of my crabgrass instead this stuff killed my lawn. BEWARE.

Lawn beautification

I saw results a few days after application. In my opinion this brand works faster than the other leading brand. Needs to be stored in a dry, cool location to prevent clumping!

Pros
  • Gardening & Lawn Care
Cons
  • Needs to be stored in a dry, cool location to prevent clumping

Saved my zoysia grass

After one week of application almost all of the invading weeds were gone and the grass greened up beautifully. Granules are easy to spread and they don''t clog. Excellent product!.

  • Granules are easy to spread and they don't clog. Excellent product!
Cons
  • This product burn my lawn , my grass looks terrible with burning spots.Never gonna buy it again

Thank you, Bayer Lawn

We had a "purple plague" rapidly running thru our St. Aug. lawn, in south Fla. Scotts is good for some weeds but not this monster. Thank you, Bayer BioAdvance, you shut it right down. See some burnt out lawns photo reviews which concerned us, so I repeat what other have said: If you really read the instructions and make sure you use the proper number for your spreader {use broadcast spreaders vs drop if your clueless to avoid putting too much down and burning your lawn, a little goes along…

Pros
  • Trusted brand and scientifically-backed formula ensures high-quality results
Cons
  • Packaging is not resealable, which could lead to product waste over time

Listen to the reviews

Terrible product. After two months most of it still has not dissolved and is just lying dorment on my lawn. Has literally done nothing for my yard. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Pros
  • Lawn fertilizer: feeds, greens, and strengthens your lawn
Cons
  • Can cause discoloration on certain types of turf

Works great! on my review.

We had several spots with crab grass and other kinds of grass on our front lawn. We used this it fertilizered the lawn as well as killing the other grasses. I have since bought some more.I do think it is pricey! It doesn’t cover much ground!

Pros
  • 12.7 pounds
Cons
  • No improvement to my lawn

The feed part worked really well. I had one of the more beautiful yards of clover in the neighborhood. Not my intention when i went into the expense of a week killer.

Pros
  • Knocked out some tough clover that another Weed and Feed couldn't.
Cons
  • Grass died
