Review on Fujifilm Instax Square SQ1 Instant Camera- Chalk White (16670522) by Shawna Lamb

I have been using instax mini for many years, slowly trying to switch to instax square. Since the price of square film was lower, I decided to try this camera. - I love the color, this color is very catchy and not easy to stain. Just like other similar Instax cameras. There's nothing special about that. The contrast is strong, the blacks are very black. In general, the color is a little cold and darker. There are no additional settings to optimize the result of photos. It's pretty much hit and miss in terms of output quality. - Selfie mode, this one is made for any type of close-up focus. I'd say if you're capturing something that's within 2-3 feet of the camera, use selfie mode. Otherwise, the photos will be blurry. You can see an example in the photos I uploaded. Size, this camera is big! I'm a little surprised. it's even larger than the digital printer version. I'm not sure I like the large size. - Batteries, no batteries. Uses 2 CR2 camera batteries. They aren't cheap. A bit disappointed I was really hoping that by now they would have rechargeable batteries with all their cameras. I have an Instax Square SP-3 printer. Right now, the SP-3 costs about $100. Compare the photo quality of SP-3 and SQ1. I personally prefer the SP-3. I know exactly what I'm getting because I can preview all my photos before printing. I have uploaded samples of two. The quality of the SQ1 is decent, with high contrast and fairly sharp images, not bad. It's just that the photos are a bit cold when using the flash. Strong contrast, too much for my taste. There is no way to customize it as there are no settings to control it. Personally, I would choose the SP-3 Instax Square Printer. Since then they have been in the same price range. I just want more control over the outcome of my photos.
