.but one day I thought this was the last charger I would ever need. I got this because I needed a very long cord (10 feet or more) for use in my living room. Based on the reviews of this cable, most people buy it for the iMac, but I bought it for a Samsung phone that uses a USB Type-C connector. I connected this suction cup to my Anker fast charger and leave the phone for a while. When I plugged it in, the phone's battery was at 32%. I came back in about 35 minutes and the phone was 100% working! So you can imagine that it would probably take 50 minutes to charge from 0 to 100%, assuming the phone wasn't fully charged a few minutes before my review. In terms of build quality, it feels like a heavy-duty cable, like it's reinforced with a very thick weave throughout its length. The connection point on the head is also very stiff and strong, almost plastic (or very hard rubber) that doesn't seem to "break" with prolonged use. I definitely recommend this cable although I like the 90 degree cable. The connections I have are with different, albeit shorter, cables from Ainope.
