overall I think it's a decent set and don't mind if I need another in the future. I bought this to make a lamp out of a magazine a friend owned. I machined it on my lathe, profiled the base of the lamp which I think would be good, and bought a 2 foot 3/8" drill bit to drill the hole on the lathe through the active center. The fitment The kit took some time to complete. Time as I didn't have to use all the parts and the instructions weren't very good. I was able to assemble the parts and figure out what I needed from the parts provided. Subject to heavy use I hope that in the long term she will be fine.
