The shade cloth helps my greenhouse vegetables stay cool

The shade cloth is light yet durable. I put it over my greenhouse and the vegetables are happy on hot summer days. The grommets may be too large or spaced too far apart, making it difficult to secure the shade cloth tightly!

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • The grommets may be too large or spaced too far apart, making it difficult to secure the shade cloth tightly

so far so good in my review

It was easy to install and provides shade for my 4 tomato plants. After a season of SC sun, I will be interested if it will be reusable for next season.

Pros
  • Umbrellas & Shade
Cons
  • The shade cloth may not be as easy to clean as other materials like plastic or metal

Lightweight but works

This shade cloth is very light weight. I would not expect it to hold up in a big storm but for protecting my tropicals, which spent the winter in the basement, from the sun it worked perfectly.

Pros
  • good
Cons
  • The shade cloth may not be as effective at blocking out sunlight as advertised

Good coverage. Well made.

Using these to cover a large rock bed to keep the leaves from getting stuck this fall. Usually we spend several days of back breaking work to remove them in the spring. Hopefully this makes it easier. It has good coverage with small enough holes to let water through, but not leaves. The trick will be the removal, once it's covered in them. Fingers crossed. We bought several.

Pros
  • Nice and light weight. Easy to use. Works great to keep plants from getting over heated.
Cons
  • The shade cloth may require more than one person to install properly

Pretty cheap, didn't hold up

Pretty cheap, didn't hold up. The grommets fell out before installing it. It is made of a cheap plastic similar to a thick grocery bag. It tear extremely easy.

Pros
  • Used this to shade my tomato plants. It worked quit well.
Cons
  • The shade cloth may not hold up well to prolonged exposure to wet conditions

Fantastic ‼️ for my opinion

It blocks the sun when it sets west from burning my plants and it’s keeping the birds from flying into my balcony while I’m enjoying the view. I can see through it without it being extremely hot. I live it. Buy it ☺️

Pros
  • It had more gromets than I expected, doesn't block the view, and provides shade for my patio table.
Cons
  • The shade cloth may not be as effective at blocking UV rays as advertised

If Your Tomato Plant Stops Blooming Due To Excessive Heat

95 degree Heat stopped tomato plants from producing fruit. Covered and blooms stopped dropping from plants producing tomatoes again.

Pros
  • Awesome product it is a great addition to the garden
Cons
  • The material may be prone to discoloration or staining over time

I am satisfied with the quality and the price.

This product is lightweight, which makes it easier to install for a temporary use. I bought it to give my plants some relief from our hot weather and it would be good to give humans shade also. I found it made well and sturdy for the price. I am sorry to say that we haven’t used it yet so I don’t know how it will hold up, but it is ready to be put up next summer.

Pros
  • Good price, good quality
Cons
  • The shade cloth may not hold up in strong winds or storms

Garden c ok very not pergolas

Unfortunately I built my pergolas too wide to use this for our party, & they let more of the sun thru than expected; but I intend on using them for our vegetable garden for these purposes.

Pros
  • Resistant to tearing, fading, and weathering for year-round use
Cons
  • The material may be prone to developing holes or tears from exposure to extreme temperatures or weather conditions

Works very well - my new review

We have an acorn tree right over our pool and so many acorns were falling into the pool they were staining the bottom. Didn't want a pool cover because of the price, found this item and it works great even keeping the leaves out.

Pros
  • Just what we need to add shade, attached easily with awning hooks on RV rollout shade
Cons
  • The grommets may be too small to accommodate larger hardware like carabiners or hooks

I love this product. it is perfect for shading plants. and the air goes thru. We have monsoon here. Very heavy rain. I can either take the cloth in or leave it and it will weather the storm.

Pros
  • Saves water by reducing evaporation and increasing moisture retention
Cons
  • The grommets may not be spaced evenly, causing the shade cloth to sag or slide around

Time will tell. Could be 5 star.

Set up was easy over may garden. Very light weight, time will tell if it will hold up. If the product turn out to be durable, will be 5 STAR product. This

Pros
  • Constructed with durable, high-quality materials for long-lasting performance
Cons
  • The shade cloth may not be as effective at reducing sound as other materials like acoustic foam or panels

Inexpensive and good sunshade

I bought this to use as sunshade curtain on a patio. It’s inexpensive, light, blocks sun yet allow breeze and rain come through the mesh. I hang it on hook nail to eyelet. It works for me.

Pros
  • Made from eco-friendly materials that are safe for plants and the environment
Cons
  • The material may be prone to becoming brittle or cracking over time

Works Great for my Little Lime Tree

So far so good. Provides the right amount shade here in Arizona for my little lime tree. With our sun, everything needs a bit of extra shade.

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain for effortless upkeep
Cons
  • The shade cloth may require frequent replacement if used in high traffic or high wear areas

DIY Duck Hunting Raft

I am using this mesh tarp as a DIY duck raft for diver duck hunting. I have PVC pipes zip tied to the sides, with decoys on 1' drops spread around. Makes for setting out a dozen decoys super easy and fast, and lets our dog swim right across the raft when it's in the water. Only downside is that the tarp seems to rip easily, any time it gets snagged in the boat or a duck gets snagged, it puts a hole in the tarp. It will easily last one season, but not sure how much longer than that.

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • The shade cloth may not be washable, rendering it difficult to keep clean

customer service fail

talked to customer service right away they said to take down the bad review and and send them a pic of the tarp a nd they would send me a new tarp well I didn't know how to take down the review so I sent a new one about how fast c/s responded to my post to send them a pic was hard don't know if it worked.how ever haven't seen a new shade tarp and no ward out of c/o either so I guess my first response was correct don't waste your money on these shade cloth's they are made poorly vary poorly

Pros
  • Versatile and multi-functional, can be used for various applications
Cons
  • The shade cloth may not be as effective at reducing glare as other materials like tinted glass or films

Works GREAT - my new review

These garden covers protected my veggie garden in 100+ heat. I leave it up all year, works great during rain, sun, heat & wind. I had a GREAT harvest last year!

Pros
  • I used this item in addition to my awning on my trailer to block the sun. Worked great.
Cons
  • The material may be prone to fraying or unraveling over time

Perfect for shading garden.

Just what my husband was looking for. It's the perfect size to drape over one area of the garden that needs the shade. He uses twist ties to hold in place on the fence.

Pros
  • Yep
Cons
  • Not bad

Revainrating 5 out of 5

good for blocking sun

This shade cloth was just the right size for small area. I have 10 Vandas (orchids) that were on sheppard hooksgetting too much sun. I was able to drape the shade cloth over the shepard hooks It does allow water/rain to pass. THe orchids are doing quite well I recommend it for a small garden in areas where the sun is too intense. It had grommets along side of shade cloth to attach it to whatever . Price is resonable.

Pros
  • Great product for what it's used for.
Cons
  • The material may not be as dense as expected, allowing more sunlight to come through
