The only problem was that the label on the case was not exactly the same as what I had ordered, so I tried to send it back. Eventually, I opened the packaging and found that it did fit my model of MackBook Pro. Have used it for a week or two and have no complaints. It is lighter than my previous "Spec" case but seems to be protective. This is the second Se7enline case I have bought (the other being for a MacBook Air). There have been no problems with either.Followup Review (09-30-20): Over about a 8 months this cover's finish began to peel off (looked really bad). Also, although the computer and cover were never dropped, stress fractures began to appear on the case, primarily at the corners. Then, the corners of the case began falling off. This product was probably sitting in inventory for some years before I bought it; and, could have been a very early model that has been subsequently improved. That said, I had to replace it before the year was out with a seemingly identical cover (from IBENZER) that has held up perfectly.
