The bag is the same plastic as many of them, if not from the same factory then exactly the same specs but there are a few differences1. this one comes in cool colors (mine is green and it looks great).2. The lower foam rubber layer does not pull or tear, no problem for me3. In this case, the foam is much easier to disassemble for pulling and plucking, which is both good and bad. You really have to be careful, but I have fabric glue that fixes mistakes, so it's ok.4. There are metal pads around the holes in which you can insert the lock - it looks more reliable, and it also looks good. I will buy another one but this time orange.
