IP67 Waterproof & Dust Proof: Rubber gasket lines the rim of the case, when latched closed creates a waterproof seal. Good protection for my fragile radio gear

I have two of these boxes. I use them to store my ham field radio and vector network analyzer. These are very good boxes, at least no worse than the "P" brand that I also own. From now on I will buy these boxes as my favorite brand.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do

The bag is the same plastic as many of them, if not from the same factory then exactly the same specs but there are a few differences1. this one comes in cool colors (mine is green and it looks great).2. The lower foam rubber layer does not pull or tear, no problem for me3. In this case, the foam is much easier to disassemble for pulling and plucking, which is both good and bad. You really have to be careful, but I have fabric glue that fixes mistakes, so it's ok.4. There are metal pads aroundโ€ฆ

Should be more personal

This is a lovely little case. The only problem is that only one level of internal padding can be configured. I had to cut off the top and bottom of the filling with a bread knife. It makes a disgusting mess and to be honest after spending so much money on a protective case I shouldn't cut it with a knife. The top and bottom padding should come in two pieces, not just one, to allow you to adjust additional depth settings and protect the items you plan to put inside. I have no idea if it'sโ€ฆ
