You must moisturize your hair or scalp (with water, rose water or leave in conditioner) before using oil. Using oil alone without a moisturizing method will break your hair. Oil is a sealant, not a moisturizer. As they say, this is a great product. I soak these herbs in a jar with extra virgin olive oil, avocado, and oil with vitamin E. After letting them steep for a week or two, I strain the herbs and then add peppermint, black seed, lavender, and castor oil.
