Review on Atrend Single 8 Inch Subwoofer Enclosure by Giles Lacoste

This is a sturdy box. I had an extra 8" Pyle PLPW8D 800W dual 4 ohm subwoofer lying around and wanted to see how it would sound in a box with connectors so I bought this box and installed it. I put it in the with 300 watts of power for the subwoofer Put it in the trunk, it hit the bottom end really well (until I blew that sub a few days later)! I bought an I8D4 - Incriminator Audio 8" dual 4 ohm subwoofer (I-8D4) that can handle 300W RMS can, and put it in this box, and the bass kept pouring! The carpet came clean with no issues and I didn't have to add any sealer to seal the interior. Will never complain about the price and with a new subwoofer this box gets really loud. If you're trying to annoy your neighbors with this 8 you might need a bigger setup than what I have, but this box will definitely fill your car with big bass for little power. I would definitely buy it again - in fact I will buy it again now that I have the Kicker 40CWD84 CompD 8" car subwoofer - Every (black) play!
