As the title says, a little pricey but if you have the money then a great purchase. If you don't already have food, water and basic sanitation use $100 for this, but if you are well prepared and have a little extra cash I would suggest this is more than just a fancy keychain. Show off at the local bar but maybe a life saving tool. The ticking can be a bit annoying, it should tick once or twice every 30 seconds, but when it gets cold it starts ticking about every 10 seconds. I tested it by putting it in the freezer for 20 minutes and then quickly warming it up in my hand and it beeped. Usually this way you get 2 chirps every few seconds for about 5 or 10 minutes, I think it depends on how cold it was and how fast you warm it up. It's not very loud, which I think should be improved, but it's loud enough for what I do.
