Please investigate! in Hazardous Materials

So I got this nifty item for more SHTF situations. I also deal with communication devices that produce radiation, so it's better to be safe than sorry. Using this in conjunction with an enhanced timing device (e.g. an automatic analog clock) allows you to actively track how much radiation you've received based on the beeps and nifty graph on the back of the Nukalert. It's a big deal and the fact that I can carry it with me everywhere is amazing. In the event of a catastrophic nuclear bomb, I…

If you don't already have food, water and basic sanitation use $100 for this, but if you are well prepared and have a little extra cash I would suggest this is more than just a fancy keychain. Show off at the local bar but maybe a life saving tool. The ticking can be a bit annoying, it should tick once or twice every 30 seconds, but when it gets cold it starts ticking about every 10 seconds. I tested it by…

Best handy wartime fallout gauge

Perfect design and functionality for civil defense applications - someone found this product really good. Unlike most commercial radiation detectors, which only detect low dose rates, this small detector is one of the few wartime designs relevant to nuclear fallout scenarios. The photocintillation system is an ideal detection method for this purpose and is superior even to the ionization chamber/gauge (FEMA yellow gauges) in that no calibration is required to be effective. It's also very…
