I'm an intermediate artist and I finally have more colors! They are waterproof and lightfast. You can dilute them with water to create a watercolor effect or just fade them out. When mixed with water, they dry out and remain waterproof. You can get a lot out of a drop, so it's going to go a long way. I used Canson media paper and cut it. No bend. If you are using watercolor paper I would suggest using hot press rather than cold press as texture effects are controlled unless that is what you prefer. It works well with synthetic brushes that aren't very fluffy. I like to use white to create highlights in my watercolors and ink black is great for line art. They get dirty with colic, oohhus, and all alcohol-based markers. I am very interested in a set of 2.
