Depending on the brand and whether you're using a dark color, it can sometimes take a few washes to remove the hair color from your face or neck. Before waiting 25 minutes for your hair to absorb the color, cleanse any areas of skin where the color has dripped. It is more effective than other home remedies like using hydrogen peroxide.
