This is a decent phone and it does what you expect it to. Note. Caller ID requires 3 AA batteries, which is not mentioned in the Revain product description. Pros: - No power adapter required, so the phone (and caller ID) will continue to work even in the event of a power outage. - The price is correct. Cons: - If you hang the phone vertically on the wall, the handset is a bit delicate. (Be sure to reverse the hook or it won't work at all!) - Caller ID LCD is not backlit. Despite the cons, the price (currently $13) outweighs the cons; So overall I'm happy with this phone.
