As it is a two-part product (body and keyboard) I will talk about it separately. Case: My last case was thin, which while easy to carry and portable, lacked rip protection. When fully closed, this case feels more secure if I drop it, but when open, the opposite is true. It's inherently bulky (because it has to hold the keyboard), but I wish there was a little more padding on the inside. My iPad Air is held in place only by the Velcro and small pieces of leather, leaving the corners and most of the sides exposed. The design of the case makes it difficult to touch the bottom edge of the screen in a horizontal position (home button on the right). It also tends to sag a bit; The holes are not perfectly aligned and sometimes block the charging port. Since my iPad is black and has a black body, I'm constantly trying to figure out where the buttons are (I keep touching the camera when I want to press the home button). I'm also having some trouble accessing all of the side buttons, while I had no problems before. My final concern is that there's either no support for the magnetic lock, or it's poorly made. Most of the time I don't have a keyboard connected, and when I want to lock/unlock it I have to press the top button (and I mentioned that it's pretty hard to reach and press). I can't tell if the keyboard has this feature; I've never seen an iPad screen turn off on keyboard contact, but I've seen the screen wake up twice (out of 30 times) when it was open. In general I would avoid a case whenever possible. Keyboard: In contrast to the case, I really like the keyboard (which is why I bought this product). I bought it to postpone buying a full laptop and to make my tablet a little more useful and it does the job well. I'm not a fan of the slim design of most keyboards, but it's a necessary sacrifice to keep the profile slim (although most of the top area feels a bit wasted). It's easy to charge, matches the case's leather, and has an extra cavity to fit your iPad comfortably. Thanks to the magnets on the case, I can adjust the position in the case or just detach it and keep the tablet at a distance. And since it's Bluetooth, I can also connect the keyboard to other devices. My only issue is that it requires a micro USB port to charge. If I'm using this for an iPad, a Lightning connector would be preferable. Conclusion: I was looking for a keyboard/case hybrid to keep my workspace clean and came across it thanks to a lightning fast deal. It's cheaper compared to other brands, but I advise you to check if it really suits your needs before spending it. I keep the keyboard until it breaks, but the case is gone once I replace the iPad.
