I have bought many kitchen towels, sponge towels from different manufacturers in the past. They usually absorb well for the first few days, but after a week the rags become thinner, less absorbent and prone to punctures. I cook a lot, so I constantly wipe a clean workspace with a rag. This Swedish dishcloth stays thick, absorbs moisture well, doesn't fall apart and cleans my granite countertop perfectly. The price is also attractive for 16 paintings.
