My 6 year old son is quick to grab tennis shoes as he needs to run around so I was excited to try these knitted shoes to see how they hold up. Unfortunately, they didn't suit us for several reasons. First of all, I found the "Fashion" lettering on the Velcro a bit strange, but at least it looked silvery on the product image. There are purple letters on the shoes. Like a very obvious purple. (Which was unacceptable for my son.) The back of the shoe is also oddly high on my son's ankles, which he didn't like either as he bumped into his ankles while running. The landings themselves are a little long, but otherwise standard. It's definitely not going to be a repeat purchase for us - and I've had a really hard time finding anyone giving them away for free with the slightly odd camouflage print + purple lettering combo. But the knit itself and the quality of the sole seems good. So if you like the camp/purple look and like the high tabs at the back then you'll probably love them!
