I want to like it as I've had good 4K from Viewsonic before, but it's too dark for graphics, photos or working outside of the night, even at full brightness. UPDATE: I have since determined (from LG tech support) that the issue occurs when using HDR10 capable signals. In my case, my Mac Pro defaulted to an HDR signal, which may have better range but also lower brightness. This wasn't an issue with Viewsonic tech support, but it seems to be an issue when debugging with LG on a different monitor. With no HDR in my Mac display settings, the screen was brighter and still had good color reproduction. It seems that HDR has some quirks to understand.
