ViewSonic VX2776-4K-MHD: Frameless 4K Monitor with DisplayPort, Blue Light Filter, Built-In Speakers & Anti-Glare Coating Review

I bought this monitor as a second monitor and have been using it for 2 weeks. The picture quality is excellent, but the monitor goes off for a few seconds at least 3-4 times a day and then turns on again. Not sure what is causing this problem. I checked the power and HDMI cables while disconnecting to make sure they were connected properly, but it doesn't seem to matter. I am closely monitoring this issue before deciding to return it.

If you plan to place this monitor next to another, be aware that the right and left edges of the viewable screen are 1/4 inch from the "ultra-thin bezel," meaning you're at least 1/2 have customs. inches between screen images, so not the best choice for simulating a panoramic view. It's a little out of place to have a "super-thin bezel" when you're pushing the edge of the screen that far away from it.

I want to like it as I've had good 4K from Viewsonic before, but it's too dark for graphics, photos or working outside of the night, even at full brightness. UPDATE: I have since determined (from LG tech support) that the issue occurs when using HDR10 capable signals. In my case, my Mac Pro defaulted to an HDR signal, which may have better range but also lower brightness. This wasn't an issue with Viewsonic tech support, but it seems to be an issue when debugging with LG on a different monitor.

It's noticeable in the lower right quadrant of my monitor, but not by much. I really like the 4K resolution after upscaling my OS. Brightness and color reproduction are good, black is good. It's not a $2000 monitor, but at $300 it's a lot for the money. There are no dead/stuck pixels on initial inspection. Having had Viewsonic professional monitors in the past, I decided to give the brand another chance. Forget using speakers. Bad doesn't even scratch the surface. Who buys a 4K monitor for speakers.

The display is really good but I had a lot of trouble setting it up properly when I got it as there is no documentation and there was no document on the online site either. I complained to online customer support but the person didn't know much about the display and it took me several tries to get the information I needed. Finally they got an online document.

It's ok, it looks good. I had audio issues where the monitor refused to play any sound until I turned on the speaker AFTER everything was on. If I switch to a different HDMI port, it will refuse to receive audio unless I leave everything turned off for a while, and even then it may still not work. My device comes with a few dead pixels in the middle and is already experiencing coil whine. The included stand tilts just 30 degrees and offers 3 inches of headroom above your desk with no height adjustment. The VESA mounting hole access cover can only be removed by breaking the plastic latches and the mounting holes are not VESA compliant. I will say that these monitors look very nice, are aesthetically great and the screen quality seems to be good. I don't like quality control. I ordered two monitors, one has an internal component that rattles when moved and the other has a broken power button (I can't turn off the monitor). I'll probably swap both and if the replacement parts are better I'll change my rating. However, it is frustrating to have problems with two of the two monitors.

I purchased this monitor and had an issue where the monitor's displays would turn off and on at random times. Viewsonic support didn't help me either. Most likely, I will throw this device.

I'm really crazy about this monitor. He has a great picture. Except for the fact that the first one I received had a few dead pixels and the replacement they sent me has lines of dots all over the screen. I sent them both back.

Color looks washed out compared to my Gigabyte AD27QD, but overall this is a good 4K monitor for watching videos and browsing the web.
