Bought this monitor as an upgrade for a semi-pro recording studio along with a new Macbook Pro connected to a T3 docking station. After everything booted up, my audio and MIDI completely exploded due to static noise and timing issues. I literally spent over a month troubleshooting my new computer and all my audio/midi hardware to figure out why there was noise over the audio and MIDI was a total mess. WOW, I was fooled by the previous reviews! Either people have low standards or the reviews are fake. How on earth can you get by in 2020 without charging over $300 for a 4K monitor without a fully adjustable base? I'm pretty sure it's a die cast metal base, it feels like I'm driving the screws in with the screwdriver hanger they gave me. Furthermore, they don't even ship a DisplayPort cable with the monitor, only . HDMI cable for 10 cents. Viewsonic, your standards have fallen from the past.
