Great monitor and such a low price! sound problems

This is an excellent monitor. As a software developer who uses a lot of monitors (but not a graphic artist) I don't see any advantage over other more expensive monitors of this size unless you need special features like a USB hub or speakers. It's very easy. I like the fact that the mount is at the bottom on the back so it works well with the monitor mounts that were designed for the small monitors of the bad old days. (I placed my monitor above my laptop screen.) The only minor downside is that the VESA mount only has two holes, so the VESA mount feels a bit odd. But it is so light that two holes are enough. The top two holes on my arm mount are open (slotted) at the top for easy attachment, but I had to use the bottom two holes. So I just turned the arm and monitor upside down when attaching and everything worked great. It may not be clear, but if you try, you will understand! Another problem I noticed later: the audio output. I can't use it with my wireless FM headphones at all; not sure why but it causes crazy interference. If I plug my headphones into the laptop instead, they're fine (so it's audio only, no radio interference). ie no music or anything playing), a very high level of noise (white noise). This noise floor is low enough that I didn't notice it when the speakers were turned up to normal volume to hear computer beeps or conversation volume. But you notice that after playing the music at a comfortable volume, when stopping the music or during quiet passages. I no longer have a measuring device, but I am very familiar with these speakers and estimate the noise to be around -50 dB.
