Review on BFGoodrich g-Force Winter 2 185/65 R15 92T by Jnis Ginters ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

I chose this tire for a long time. The model is new, there are few reviews. But what reviews were, then entirely positive. In foreign tests, this rubber is among the best, in general the best on snow. Rubber, as it were, for a European mild winter, but as practice has shown, you can ride it on any road surface. When I first put it on, it was raining and the abs immediately worked when braking. On my TOYO T1R summer tires, I didn’t know what abs was at all. Yes, it's the first time I'm riding Velcro. Before that spikes. At first I thought that the tires were bad, but then rolled. I drive fast. 140-160 in the rain on it is generally easy. In turns on dry pavement flew 178 km / h. Holds. Not like summer, of course. But it keeps. Then I waited for the snow. Fly away on the first day Well, it turned out that the car in front began to brake sharply, I did not keep my distance and, in order not to beat her, smoothly went to the side of the road. But that was the first day in the snow. Tested tires, adapted. So: it keeps well in the snow. At least, with my driving style, I overtake everyone on the highway, whether it’s snow or porridge - there are no problems. But it seems to me that it does not hold as well in the snow as a spike. I think it's because of the tread, it's not very deep. But if you correctly handle the steering wheel and pedals, then you can drive fast on it. But the main hobby is dry/wet asphalt. I also drove on completely icy roads. The car on the ice breaks into the skid when braking. But a lot of this ice in the current winters? Moves well on ice, without slipping Pleased with the patency of rubber in the snow. Didn't even expect this. A few words about the company and tire model. Goodrich is a subsidiary of Michelin. My tires are made at the Michelin factory in Romania. There was the first Goodrich. That rubber is frankly bad. Over Winter 2 thoroughly worked, changed the composition of the rubber compound and it gave a tangible result. I recommend rubber to those who love speed, who live in the southern regions or large cities. Who lives in the villages, then you need another, with a tractor protector. And if you know how to drive, then take it and drive anywhere in the country. Thousand 7 I have already passed on it

Pros
  • Appearance. Reliable behavior on dry/wet pavement.
Cons
  • Be careful on the ice
