This diamond tester was a hit. It's important that your stones are room temperature for them to work properly so they can be a bit finicky but for the price I can't complain. I overpaid for this setup because it came with a battery, but the battery didn't work at all. At first I thought I had a bad block but I put in a new good quality 9v battery and it worked. The battery connector was difficult to assemble. It's very tight. The instructions say to remove the battery when not in use, but it's so difficult to turn on and off that I just leave the battery connected. Lets see what happens. I would give 3 1/2 stars if I could.
