Review on 8-Cavity Round Silicone Shot Glass Mold by Wilton by Anna Alcala

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They work as advertised

I saw footage of Jolly Rancher at a cooking show and wanted some for New Year's Eve. I bought two and for the batch I made I had to experiment. I looked at the happy ranchers and added as they melted. This seems like the best way to go if you don't want to break the candy into smaller pieces. Set your oven to 350 and they will melt and fill in the gaps. Add a few more if needed. Air bubbles rise. Shake lightly if necessary. I put them on a baking sheet just in case. They will be very hot and brittle until they harden, so wait for them to cool before touching them, just to be safe. They are fully non-stick and the mold is inverted to remove the jar. You can use again immediately. I've also made ice glasses that worked as well. You have to have mold on something solid to get it in the freezer without spilling it. The only problem with frozen shot glasses is that the shot at the bottom melts very quickly so the men's tour kicks off quickly! We just tossed them into the cup we used when we were done. I see another use for party gifts, etc. They do exactly what they are supposed to do, so the 5 stars are more than fair!
