Review on Cayer FP34 Camera Monopod - 71 inch Lightweight Aluminum Telescopic Monopod with Pan Tilt Fluid Head and Tripod Base for DSLR Cameras by Lexi Hernandez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simply 5 Stars in Camera & Photo

It has everything I like and expect from a video monopod and nothing I don't like. Starting from the bottom we have the tripod base. It can be removed and replaced with a rubber foot or spiked foot. The rubber leg is included but there is no lace (boo). The tripod base has its own rubber foot that you can use when all feet are up. The ball in the base of the tripod works like a ball head, allowing you to adjust the orientation of the tripod legs to suit the terrain you are on. . In order to quickly fix the tripod base in a vertical position, there is a metal clamp that takes over this function very easily. The monopod's leg extensions slide in and out with ease, and the latches work flawlessly. I prefer deadbolts to twistlocks. The rubber grip just below the fluid head is thick enough to inspire confidence and sticky enough to keep hands from slipping. The fluid head works well, sliding easily and locking into place. It has a small spring balance. If you remove the hydraulic head, you can easily change the screw thread size (1/4" and 3/8"). You can also remove the strap if you wish. The soft case is attractive and has an inside zip pocket which I find very important for storing things like included parts and Allen keys. end plate. Fiction! That suits me and is a simple recommendation.
