A mismanufactured 410a adapter will not contact the valve

The 410a adapters that come with this kit (at least on my unit) will not connect to the valve to allow it to open. Because of this, I could not successfully pull out the vacuum cleaner. I tried a different adapter from another company and it worked. do not buy.
