Works well so far

Used two systems for evacuation and all went well. A few times he refused to start when under pressure. It also didn't come with a sight glass, which is recommended.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Faulty

Works well will definitely buy another one

I've used this thing probably a hundred times over the last few years. It is small, easy to carry, and evacuates air conditioners. Good product

So far so good in air conditioning tools and gear

I used this to install a 180lb r134a in a large accessory unit that uses a two phase refrigeration circuit with a pump (no compressor) used . The boy worked surprisingly quickly. maybe 15 minutes to fill a 30 pound bottle.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I will add later

Robinair vacuum pump

This Robinair is great. bright as hell Portable, but I've been dragging vacuums to 30-pound systems in minutes. The price is perfect for buying a quality product and a well known name in the industry. I would buy a second one if needed.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some flaws

Made to leave home without leaving it

Works exactly as intended. Ideal for residential and light commercial systems. Lightweight, low power consumption, quiet and relatively well built. Depending on temperature, system volume and refrigerant type, it will pump out a typical 3 ton domestic system in about 30 minutes. It is not intended to be recovered, but simply recovered, so contaminated refrigerant must be recovered using other methods.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • some little things

Works well, portability better than speed

Some other reviewers have mentioned how long it takes to fully evacuate the system. Depending on the size of the system and the length of the connection lines between the outdoor and indoor units, this can take some time. But it's very light and compact, and I found it fast enough for its size; About 9 pounds of R22 was removed from a 55 foot split system in about 1.5 hours, but it was done under ideal conditions and using an empty recovery bottle.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great little car

I recently started my own mobile auto repair business. I received many requests to work on the air conditioning, but I didn't have a car to restore. I'm used to using a large recovery/evacuation/charge machine in the shop, but that doesn't work for a mobile company. So I bought this little device based on a well known brand. I'm happy with that. It turns off a typical air conditioner in a reasonable amount of time and allows me to properly service vehicles in the field. It's lightweight and…

Great value for a mechanic Shadetree

This little machine does a great job especially in the automotive industry. For some reason Robinair does not publish the manual for this machine on their website. I think that's stupid, especially since I almost didn't buy it because of conflicting refrigerant compatibility information on the internet. I ended up taking the plunge and of course the manual says it's good for R-134a. It restores about 2 pounds in about 30 minutes. If you live in a hot climate and have a desire to do this type of
